Recent records from the Broads.

Distinctive narrow forewing with acutely angled apex and light brown general coloration.

Three forms occure in the UK and are unlikely to be confused with any other species.
f. flavana: veins stand out whitish, scattered black scales, only a hint of a blackish disco-cellular spot.
f. uliginosana: large black disco-cellular spot.
f. striana: medial longitudinal blackish to ferruginous-brown streak from base to apex.
